ONGOING PROJECT
The aim of the foundation is to contribute to better health and the opportunity to education for those who lack healthcare or access to go to school. Together with other actors and local initiatives, we are financing the building of a hospital in Mali, an education for midwives in Mali, a school home in Nepal, and a water and sanitation project in Ghana.

School home for poor children
HERE THE CHILDREN GET FOOD, CLOTHES, AN OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR HYGIENE, AND A BED TO SLEEP IN
Humla is one of the poorest districts in the poor country of Nepal. The organization KMCH runs a school home there. The school home is a prerequisite for children of poor families to be able to go to school because the distances are great and the roads are non-existent or very bad.
Supporting the childrens opportunity for education means giving them possibilitys for a better future. With more means we can create a brighter future for other children in poor parts of the world.
CARE FOR MALI
Midwifery training in Mali
TRAINING OF MIDWIVES HELPS TENS OF THOUSANDS OF RURAL WOMEN
Today, ten million Malians live in rural areas. Many of them, around 65-70%, lack basic government healthcare. Mali has one of the world's highest levels of infant mortality. Having a trained midwife nearby is therefore vital for both babys and mothers.
The partial funding of midwifery training in Mali is one of our major projects. We are currently working to expand our involvement with financial support for the establishment of local midwife receptions.
We hope you will help us continue our work and enable more midwives to be trained and save lives.
WATER AND SANITATION IN GHANA
Toilets and clean drinking water
FINALLY THE STUDENTS AND THE TEACHERS GET ACCESS TO TOILETS AND CLEAN DRINKING WATER.

At Aflao Duta basic public school in Ghana, they had only two toilets for the school's approximately 850 students, and the school's manual water pump had broken.
Our foundation is happy to tell you that we have donated money to contribute to the financing of a new water pump, the acquisition of a large water tank (4000 l) and the construction of ten new toilets and two showers. Now students, teachers and local residents have opportunities to wash their hands and access to clean drinking water.
Construction is underway in full swing and is being carried out on site by Volker Petersen, the aid organization Nadulat Caritas with the help of the students. Isn't it amazing that with small funds we can build well-functioning sanitation facilities together.
